Derek Ronald Oakley (Deke), 55, from Beech Hill, NS passed away
peacefully early January 30th 2025.
He was predeceased by his parents Marion and Edwin Oakley. Derek is

nieces and great nephews.
For anyone who knew Derek, knew he had the kindest heart and was a
gentle soul. Not many could beat him when it came to music trivia. The

friends at the garage helping pump your gas. Derek had a great
fondness for animals and always had a kitty or two by his side. He
will be missed by all who knew him.
There will be a private family graveside service to follow the
