Dennis Edward Middlehurst
September 27, 1938 – March 1, 2025
Dennis Edward Middlehurst passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, March 1st in Okotoks, AB at age 86 years. Survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sharon (Hill) Middlehurst. Cherished father, step-father, grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle and brother-in-law. Dennis grew up on the family farm in Caledon, Ontario, and when finished school, he went to work with his father and became a carbide specialist. In 1980 he proudly launched his own business, HiQuality Carbide Tooling Inc. in Brampton, Ontario.
After retiring, he and Sharon moved to their cottage on Lake Kashagawigamog in Ingoldsby, Ontario. They quickly became active members of the community and church. Together, they created beautiful gardens on their property, mowed lots of lawn in the summer and shoveled lots of snow in the winter! They joined a bowling league, where Dennis outshone Sharon, and Dennis joined a local carving club and carved several pieces we are all quite proud of.
Dennis was a larger than life gentle and kind man who was loved by family and all who knew him.
