Mr. Dennis James Krause of Red Deer County, Alberta passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at the age of 69 years. Dennis was born at Innisfail, Alberta on March 15, 1955 to parents Norvel and Joyce Krause. Dennis grew up in Red Deer, Alberta and went to Red Deer Composite High School. He completed autobody courses in high school, then went to SAIT University where he studied to be an autobody mechanic. Dennis spent fifty-one years working as an autobody mechanic. His love of cars was immense. It was not out of the ordinary for him to buy and sell three or four cars in any given month. He was especially interested in the cars of the nineteen thirties to fifties. Dennis was an avid camper and loved to fish. He spent many hours at rivers and streams getting his catch. Dennis had many friends, especially because of his love of cars. He would stop everything to help anyone. Dennis will be fondly remembered as a hardworking and kind man. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Jody, his stepson, Jay (Andiswa), and his five grandchildren. He will also be deeply missed by his brothers, Robin (Veva), Rick, and Bill, and his niece and nephew. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Norvel and Joyce Krause. A Celebration of Dennis’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Board Room, 1, 5108 – 49 Avenue, Innisfail, Alberta on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Dennis’s honor may be made to the Canadian Lung Association at www.lung.ca.
