ST-CHARLES, NB – Denise Robichaud passed away
peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on
Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the age of 72. Born in Sherbrooke, QC,
on December 19, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Jean-Paul
Couture and the late Agathe Doyon.
Denise will be greatly missed by her husband of 35 years,
Roger Robichaud, her two daughters, Annie Lessard
(Stéphane) of Sherbrooke, QC, and Karine Lessard of Ste.
Agathe, QC, her three grandchildren, Stephany, Kelly, and Cedryk, as
well as her seven great-grandchildren.
She also leaves to mourn several brothers-in-law,
sisters-in-law, nephews, and nieces.
Due to her husband’s career, Denise had the opportunity to
pursue several occupations, including in the restaurant industry, as a
taxi driver, in retail, as well as several years in concierge
services.
Denise was also passionate about sewing and crafts of all
kinds. Very meticulous and skilled with her hands, she loved
construction and decoration projects.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mélanie
Arseneault, Dr. Maryse Williston, and Dr. Patrice Landry, as well as
all the medical staff who provided exceptional care to
Denise.
Visitation will take place at the Thompson Funeral Home in
Richibucto, starting on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to
4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and the following day from 9:00 AM
until the time of departure for the funeral. A funeral service will be
held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the
Saint-Charles-Borromée Parish Church in St. Charles. The
date of the burial will be announced in the spring.
Instead of flowers, donations to a lung disease organization
would be greatly appreciated.
