The family of Denise Julien would like to announce her peaceful passing at the age of 77 years old.
Throughout her life, she has been surrounded by her children: Marc Chouinard (Angela Pépin) and Michèle Jacques-Chouinard (Christian Jacques). She also had many grandchildren: Véronique, Mélina (Caroline), Rémi and Gabriel.
She was predeceased by many close family members: her parents (Albert and Berthe Chalifoux) and her siblings (Gérard, Guy and Marie).
She is survived by her siblings (André Chalifoux, Huguette Hoffman, Léon Chalifoux, Nicole Chalifoux and Jean Chalifoux) and many nieces and nephews.
Christmas was one of her favorite times of year since it gave her the opportunity to rejoice with her family and share the delicious meals that she had prepared.
The family will receive friends on Friday July 11th, 2025 from 7-9 pm at LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. Funeral service will be held on Saturday July 12th, 2025 at 10am at St. Dominique Parish, with Fr. Alexis officiating. Interment will follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
