Remembering Delia
Delia Rosine Black – 92, Warwick Mountain, passed away peacefully March 13, 2025 in Willow Lodge Home for Special Care, Tatamagouche. Born in Central New Annan, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Annie (Roblee) Langille.
Delia enjoyed cooking and worked for many years in Lumber Camps and at the Balmoral Motel in Tatamagouche and was especially known for her delicious homemade pies. Delia and her husband David enjoyed many road trips together and always made sure to stop for a good meal along the way. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Gordon (Linda), Warwick Mtn.; grandchildren, David (Nicole Langille), Darryl and Rachel (Larry) Oickle; great grandchildren, Hannah (Tanner), Bailey, Nathan, Robert, Daniel, Liam and Ella; one great-great granddaughter, Vera.
Along with her parents, Delia was predeceased by her husband, David in 2014; son, Carl; sisters, Dorothy Treby and Emma Byers; brothers in law, Bill Treby and Carlton Byers.
A special thank you to the staff of Willow Lodge for your excellent care of Delia over the past 5 years. You were like family to her and we are forever grateful.
A Graveside Service will be held in the Spring in Bell Gift Cemetery, West New Annan.
If so desired, donations in Delia’s memory may be made to the Bell Gift Cemetery or to the Willow Lodge.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Coulter’s Funeral Home, 48 Riverside Dr., Tatamagouche.
