Obituary of Dawn Cleasby
Passed away peacefully at Sakura House Hospice, Woodstock on March 27, 2025 at the age of 86.
Predeceased in 2008 by her beloved husband of 50 years, Lorne Cleasby.
Loving mother of Tammy Cleasby, Vance Cleasby (Gina) and Amanda Hogendoorn (Kees). Devoted Nana of Cole, Quinton, Grayson and Romeo. She is survived by her brothers Monty Perry and Eddy Perry, sister-in-law Linda Cleasby and brothers-in-law Dennis Cleasby and Don Riemens. Dawn will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Family remained a top priority in Dawn’s life, especially her grandchildren. She was always willing to help anywhere she could. Dawn was talented at decorating and arranging flowers and her skills were always appreciated when she would help for weddings. Like the bright flowers that she loved, we will miss her bright smile and the light she brought into our lives.
Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Dawn’s life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 11 a.m. immediately followed by a reception. Interment will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
Condolences for the family and donations in Dawn’s memory may be made to Sakura House Hospice and can be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or by calling 519-745-8445.
