It is with great sadness the family of Dave Gibson announce his passing on March 21, 2025 at the age of 67 in Grimsby, Ontario. He is mourned by his wife, Heather Edwardson, his sister-in-law, Linda Dix-Gibson, his niece, Carolyn Gibson, and nephew, Andrew Gibson. He was predeceased by his parents, Christine and William Gibson and brother Christopher Gibson. Dave was a graduate of the University of Guelph and followed his passion as a fisheries biologist throughout the province of Ontario and the Arctic and retired from the Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans in Burlington several years ago. Dave was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener and loved the outdoors in all seasons. Special thanks to the caring staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Donations may be given to the hospital.
