It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved David Silverman, patriarch of our family. Born in Philadelphia, September 8, 1929, he was the much loved son of Ida & Benjamin Silverman, predeceased by his brothers Alex and Arty. Beloved Husband, best friend and soulmate for 76 years of Irene (Eta). Loving Father and Father-in-law of Sharon and Steve, Howie and Maureen, Steve and Shoshanah, Susan and Greg.
Loving Zaidy to Noel, Ellie & Craig, Arthur and Kelly, Sarah and Michael, Joseph and Sharon, Daniel and Rachel, Benjamin and Morgan, Michael and Sher, Neil, Jarred and David. Cherished Great-Grandfather to Sam, Lena, Morgan, Rory, Ava, Jace, Charlie, Lou, Maverick, Aurelia, Jack and Connor.
The family would like to thank the health care providers at Sunnybrook Hospital for their compassionate care. We also want to thank Mary Lou, his wonderful caregiver, for her kindness and caring.
He was much loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be sadly missed and always remembered.
