David King Obituary
David John King was born on November 20, 1965 to his predeceased parents Doreen Fleming-Stetski and John Donald King in Ontario. David was a proud retired Military veteran and a member of the Durham Branch #77 in Belledune New Brunswick. He left many saddened hearts behind when he passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully in his home on the morning of December 29, 2024 in his 60th year.
David is survived by his beloved wife Jill King who will carry his unconditional love and memories created together in her heart forever. He was respected by his sons Kyle and Brian (Brooke) as well as his grand daughters Allyah and Sophia who will remember his giving heart and times spent together sharing stories of his earlier days. He will be remembered by his sister Wendy and brother Rob (Gwendolyn). He will be greatly missed by aunts, uncles, brother and sister in laws, many adoring nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and supportive friends.
David lit up any space with his magnificent smile and contagious sense of humour. He never missed a chance to lend a helping hand or welcome lifelong friends that he made in many capacities over the years. He loved outdoor adventures on his ATV with Jill and their dog Scores who travelled everywhere with them. Dave loved everything about the East Coast and his extended family where he and his wife built their dream space together to settle in their retirement years that were cut way too short.
A celebration of David’s full life will be held in the Spring of 2025 where he was born and raised in Ontario. Family and friends will be welcome to share favorite memories and stories of his days gone by.
Donations to The Royal Canadian Legion or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family to honour David King.
