FOLEY, David Walter passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on January 6, 2025 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of 55 years to the late Doris Foley (2018). Dear father of Sean and his wife Eleanor. Cherished grandfather of Paige (Nick) and Sydney. David will be greatly missed by his brother Jerry, family and friends. The family would like to extend a sincere “Thank you” in particular to the Bayshore Palliative Care Nursing team, the Dufferin Paramedics and his doctors for their exceptional care and compassion during his final weeks so he could stay home and be as comfortable as possible. While we grieve the loss of a remarkable man, we find solace in knowing that David is now at peace and is back standing beside Doris, the love of his life. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial donations to Headwaters Health Care Foundation.
A tree will be planted in memory of David in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
