Dave Siebert passed away at Clinton Public Hospital on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at the age of 73. Dave was predeceased by his parents Bill and Norma, and sisters Gail and Paula.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth. His son Jared and wife Kathy (grandchildren Soren and Nathan). His son Joel and wife Mel (grandchildren Izzy, Obi and Lyric). His daughter Leah (grandchildren Seth and Ellie). His son Pete and wife Tanya (grandchildren Andrew and wife Kiana, Robert, Anna, James and Charlie, and great grandchildren Theo and Mia).
Dave was a man of many talents and passions, from his love of motorcycles to his theatre roles onstage and offstage to his ability to build anything and everything out of wood. He gave his time and love without reserve to his family, his faith, and his community. Dave was a gentle giant with a big heart and the ability to make anyone laugh and feel right at home. His impact on the lives and hearts of his family and every person who came in contact with him was profound, and he will be dearly missed.
The family will celebrate Dave’s life with extended family and friends at Kingsfield-Zurich Mennonite Church, 37818 Zurich Hensall Rd, Zurich, Ontario, on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 3 p.m.
In honour, of Dave’s distaste for dressing up, the family invites everyone to come in casual dress to his celebration of life.
