Daphne Ings Obituary
It is with tears in our eyes and memories in our hearts we announce the passing of our mother, Daphne Doris Ings (Earle) on February 23, 2025. Predeceased by her loving parents Ewen and Hilda Earle, parents-in-law Claude and Amelia Ings; brother-in-laws Hardy Ings, Don Wheeler and Gilbert Rogers.
Leaving to mourn with memories that will be cherished forward: her husband of 62 years, Cyril Ings (residing on LTC); her children Christine (Joe), Deborah (Brian), Maxine (Philip) and Clarence (Cindy); her precious grandchildren Sheryl (Justin), Shelda, Lucas, Matthew, Timothy and Shane. Her siblings Maxine, Glenn, Wayne (Wanda), Vera (Paul), Verna and sister-in-law Susie Rogers; and extended family. Also leaving to mourn her friends whom she loved and trusted with her true feelings.
Thank you to all that have had a helping hand with Mom over the years with her health issues. Thank you to the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Center doctors, nurses, paramedics, and lab services.
A huge thank you to the staff at Sunset Manor where she has resided the past two years. Thank you for all of your care and friendship you have given her. Thank you to each clergy that have held services at the home and offered prayer and companionship.
Funeral service will take place from the New World Island Funeral Home Chapel, Summerford on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.
