The family regretfully announces the passing of Paul David DaSilva on February 4, 2025 at the age of sixty. Paul was born in Toronto, the son of the late Ian and Betty DaSilva. He was loved, and will be missed, by his sister Laurie and maternal Aunt Beverly, Uncle Barry and by his aunts and uncles in the DaSilva family: Ivor, Ronald, Wendy, Wanda, Daphne, and their families. He was predeceased by his Uncles John and Brian. Paul will be also missed by David DaSilva (no relation). Paul was a hard worker and could repair and build almost anything he put his hand to. He and David completed many projects together over the years and David has many happy memories of his close friend. Paul was ill for many years prior to his passing and the family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Etobicoke General Hospital with special acknowledgement of Dr. Bharat Bahl for the professional care he gave Paul, and for the kindness and empathy he extended to the family during Paul’s last days. Special thanks to the Nasir Ahmed family for their kindness and care of Paul during the last few years. In accordance with Paul’s wishes, no services will be held and cremation has taken place. Paul was an animal lover and should anyone wish to make a donation in his name, any animal shelter, or a charity of their choice would be appropriate.
