Cynthia “Diane” Street Obituary
Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 after a short illness at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Cynthia “Diane” Street, age 60 years.
Predeceased by her parents Azariah & Marie Chipman; brother John Fewer; granddaughter Khloe and uncle Ed Fewer.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband David Street; children April (Bruce), Migdalia (Stephen), Kayla (Matt), and Gillian (Ian); grandchildren Olivia, Rhyder, Carson, Karter, Rachel, Luke, Alexis, and Ollie; siblings Bertha, Linda, Debbie, Elizabeth, Bruce, and Judy; sister-in-law Muriel; special nieces and nephews Kelly, Mark, Nicole, Matthew, Jasmine, Paul, Veronica, and John Gordon; special friend Fred Wiseman; many extended family members and a large circle of friends.
Diane was the strongest, kindest, and funniest person you could ever meet. She loved spending time with her family, sleepovers with her grandchildren, going to the cabin on the weekends, playing cards with her girlfriends every Wednesday, going to winners for shopping trips, weekly visits to “Valoo Vallagé” (Value Village) and sitting down next to the fire with a glass of lambs.
Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 1 pm – 4pm and 7 pm – 9pm and Saturday, January 11th from 10 am – 12pm. Funeral service to take place from Barrett’s Memorial Chapel at 2pm. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted.
