Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Corinne Mary Power (nee Colbert) age 93; our much-loved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many.
Corinne was a loving person who loved many and was loved by many. Corinne was a devoted Christian woman who was involved in the church choir, St. Vincent DePaul, a leader in ALFA and The Charismatic Prayer group.
Corinne died peacefully in her home surrounded by family.
She is predeceased by her son Bob, spouse Frank, granddaughter Corrina and siblings Jim, Joan, and Cathy. Survived by her dearly beloved sister and best friend Barb Cuff (Murley) and brother Maurice (Patsy).
Left to mourn are her children Bob-deceased (wife Carol) (Wade, Devon), Donna (Ainslee, Corrina-deceased), Karen (Darryl) (Shannon, Erin, Steffan), Glenn (Wendy) (Neil, Nicole), Maurie, Stephen (Tannis) (Amanda, Brad), Joe (Klaudia), Don (Kristina, Kian, Ryan) as well as 16 great-grandchildren and many friends, nieces and nephews. Special mention to her good friends Rose, Jean, Bernadette and Don; Don who brought her to church every Sunday.
Corinne has surely touched the Power, Colbert, Cuff and Coady families; we all mourn the loss. Everyone she met she loved, and they loved her in return.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation to take place from Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Rd, on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 12 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place from St. Teresa’s Church, Mundy Pond Rd, on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 11 a.m. with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
