Obituary of Connie Ross
ROSS, Constance Aileen “Connie” – age 98 of Lantz, passed away peacefully on December 31st, 2024, in Magnolia Continuing Care, Enfield. Born in Dutch Settlement, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Mary (Ashley) Hines.
Connie enjoyed playing bingo and going to dances in Nine Mile River. She attended church faithfully when she was still able to go. Believe it or not, Connie loved to shovel the snow after a big storm. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Connie is survived by her daughters, Lynn and Brenda; grandchildren, Chris (Jennifer), Nat (Ashley), Jaime; great grandchildren, Annalyse, Mia, Noah, Lexi, Taylor, Alana; nephew, Norman; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Cliff; sons-in-law, Tim and Jim; six siblings.
A visitation will be held from 1-3 pm on Sunday, January 5th, 2025, in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. A funeral service will be held from the same location at 2 pm on Monday, January 6th, 2025. Rev. Dr. Jane Magrath officiating. A reception will be held in the funeral home’s hospitality area following the service. A spring burial will take place at 10 am on Friday, May 9th, 2025, in Christ Church Cemetery, Lantz.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Magnolia, Sunflower Cottage, for their care and love of Connie.
