It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clyde Adams announce his peaceful passing, surrounded by family and love at the Norte Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 .
He is predeceased by his parents Julia & Frederick, siblings Harry, Harvey, Gwendolyn, Solomon, brother-in-law Raymond, niece Betty, parents-in-law Eric & Joyce Rideout.
Left with fond and loving memories are wife Cavell, daughter Julia (Lorne), granddaughter Rylee, siblings Shirley, Tom (Phyllis), Calvin (Rose), Betty (Malcolm), sisters-in-law Margaret, Maxine (Ed), Dianne, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the Eastside Citadel, Fairbank, NL on April 5, 2025, at 1 p.m.
Donations in Clyde’s memory may be made to the Daffodil Place, St. Johns, NL.
Clyde, a kind, loving, caring soul was a devoted husband, cherished father, beloved father-in-law and the best grandfather. He brought joy to everyone around him.
A friend to all, his warmth and generosity were truly remarkable.
Clyde had a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures, whether it be hunting, cod fishing, turring or white fish catching, he found peace in nature.
This love for animals was as profound as his love for his family, and he treated every creature with kindness and care.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and cherished memories. May his spirit find eternal rest by the water, he so dearly loved.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Daffodil Place, Heath Sciences Cancer Clinic, the NDBMHC for all of their loving care.
