It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clifford White Sr. Clifford passed as of March 23, 2025, at the age of 93 at Valley View Villa.
Cliff was born on July 31st, 1931, in Stellarton, NS to James and Irene White of Stellarton. He married his beloved wife, Jesse on November 18th, 1955.
Cliff was a hard worker and spend 43 years working for D. Porter and Sons Lumber in Stellarton. After retiring he spent his days surrounded by family and taking his daily walks ‘up street”, afterwards you would often see him relaxing feeding his birds with a nice glass of Black Rum.
Surviving are his daughters: Kim (Clary) Dean, Stellarton; Frances, Stellarton; sons: Clifford Jr. (Marjorie), Eurkea; Frank (Valerie), Stellarton; and Billy (Emma), Trenton. Along with his 9 grandchildren; Micheal, Bobby, Amanda, Holly, Lisa, David, Nikki, Robin, Riley; and their children making up his 15 great grandchildren.
Cliff was predeceased by parents James & Irene, his wife Jesse, daughter Karen, his 11 brothers and 2 sisters.
The family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to the amazing staff at the Valley View Villa, the support and kindness you have shown to the family during this difficult time will remain forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Friday March 28th at H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel in Stellarton. Funeral Service will be held Saturday March 29th at 3p.m at H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel, Stellarton with Rev. Dr. Joanne Neal officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to The Christ Anglican Church.
