Clifford Frank Laureat Dusang passed away peacefully, in the comfort of his home, on December 21, 2024.
Cliff was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on June 02, 1956.
Survived by his brother, March (Jackie) Dusang ,nieces and nephews, Andrea (Dan) Green, Dave (Ronna-Lee) Dusang and Michelle (Christian) Cooke, great-nieces and nephews, Jessica and Tyler Green, Jordan Dusang, Coleton and Lincoln Cooke, as well as his relatives in Winnipeg.
He was predeceased by his mother, Betty-Lou Marcus (August 09,2024) and his great-nephew, Jaden Kerr(September 09, 2018).
Cliff’s great life adventures found him leaving Vancouver after high school to live in Edmonton, Seattle, Los Angeles and New York.
In 2011, he moved back to Vancouver, where he lived in the downtown West End, a few blocks from English Bay.
Cliff never had a driver’s license, as his life was built in the core of each city he lived in. He walked, biked or took public transit to wherever he needed to be.
Acting was one of his greatest passions. From an early age he performed in school plays. He moved to
Los Angeles and New York to pursue his acting career in television and theatre. He wrote many transcripts whenever inspiration hit, whether it was on a paper placemat or in a notebook.
His other love was playing guitar. He started his own band in Vancouver in the 1980’s and used his guitar skills on stage in his theatre groups.
Cliff will be remembered for his story telling. He had a diversified and well-rounded education from his life experiences and the many books he enjoyed reading.
Cliff will be greatly missed by all who met and loved him.
