Obituary of Chuck Lendvay
Joseph Charles ‘Chuck’ Lendvay June 30, 1961 – November 15, 2024. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a great man; taken from us way too soon. Chuck passed away at the age of 63yrs and will be forever loved by his spouse & best friend of 30+ years Janet (Bond) Cyr. He will be terribly missed but remembered always by sisters Debbie (Wayne) Harries, and Michele (Tom) Polland. Chuck was the ultimate shoulder to lean on for Barb Williams (spouse of the late Joe Lendvay) and will be sadly missed. Chuck was the best Step-Father to Josh Cyr, his wife Rachel and Popa to Isaac. He will be fondly remembered by nephews & nieces Joe Harries, Sarah Kreb, Shawn Malone, Matt Malone, Mack Polland and Abby Polland plus all their forever growing families. A special thank you to the Staff at STEGH and the Emergency Response Teams. Cremation to take place. A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Lawrence Station Community Hall 12344 William Street, Southwold. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). Chuck’s ashes will be laid to rest in Sparta South Cemetery with interment on a later date.
