Obituary of Christopher David Bishop
It is with great sadness that the family of Christopher Bishop announces his passing at Hospice House in Fredericton on February 28, 2025 at the age of 60. He was the husband of Debbie Bishop.
In addition to his wife, Debbie, Chris leaves behind his daughter, Courtney Ulsh (Brendon); grandsons, Ledger and Oliver Ulsh; brother, Dale Bishop (Julie), and his sisters, Paulette Allen (Peter), Lori Vickerson (Rob) and Lynn Bishop. Chris was predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Vera Bishop.
Chris has worked in building maintenance positions over the years with the last 20 years being with the J Division at the RCMP where he formed valuable friendships.
Above all, Chris was a family man. He was a devoted husband, loving father, beloved brother and with no question the best Grampy to his two grandsons. He loved spending genuine time with them, exploring the outdoors, taking in the splash pad, going on his many ice cream dates and attending all of their hockey games. Chris was the kindest man with the biggest heart, always there to lend a helping hand and had the best and loudest laugh. He will be greatly missed by his family and all that knew him.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Palliative Care team at the DECH, Dr. Cameron, and to the staff of Hospice Fredericton for the extraordinary care and compassion he received while he was there.
In keeping with Chris’ wishes there will be no services at this time. A private family interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, donations in his memory may be made to Hospice Fredericton.
