Obituary of Christina Mae White
On April 23rd, 2025, after a short stay at LHSC University Campus, Christina Mae White “Yakotshánit – She is a hard worker” in her 72nd year, began her journey “home” to The Creator. She is Bear Clan from Oneida Nation of the Thames.
Chris spent her retirement years with friends and family at the Four Feathers Housing Co-op in London, Ontario for the past eight years.
She spent more than 25 years working in administration at the LHSC Victoria Campus in the Anesthesia Department. Prior to that she worked for the State of Michigan in the Lansing area.
She is reunited in heaven with her mother Lucinda Smith and father Martin White Sr. Predeceased by siblings Clarence (Leona), Elsie (Manson), Garnet Sr (Arlene), Martin Jr/Popeye, Frances and Ada.
Survived by Sister Sophia and Brother Allan. Including many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Fondly remembered by Niece Sheri, Four Feathers Friends Kathleen & Pete, Toby and Chris.
Thanks to the London Paramedics team and the emergency staff of LHSC University Campus.
Family will receive friends at the ELLIOTT-MADILL FUNERAL HOME, Mount Brydges on Monday, April 28th, 2025 from 11 am to 1 pm where the Celebration of Christina’s life will be held commencing at 1 pm. Cremation to follow with inurnment River Road United Church Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 180-633 Colborne Street, London, ON N6B 2V3 gratefully acknowledged.
