BODLEY, Charles ‘Chuck’
May 17, 1936 – March 17, 2025
Passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on March 17, 2025, at the age of 88.
Husband of Shirley Bodley and father of Charleen (Earle) and Terry Bodley (Lori). Chuck was the proud grandfather of Kerrie-Anne Brandon of B.C., late Cameron Brandon, Kaitlin Eastman (Dexter) of Sask., Melissa Bodley (Jamie) of S.S.M., Christopher Bodley of S.S.M., and 2 great grandchildren Isobel and Nikola of S.S.M.
Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Betty Bodley. Brother to Ann Bell (late Elwood) of S.S.M., and Diane Ritchie (Ron) of Ottawa. Son-in-law of the late Gearld and late Mae Hill. Brother-in-law to Gordon Hill (Joan), Sheldon Hill (Inez), Thelma Bennett (late Greg). He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Chuck spent 12 years in the Navy and worked for the Ministry until retirement. He was a charter member of the St. Joseph Lions Club.
A special thank you to the ACCAC as well as Ann Bell for the care and compassion.
As per his wishes, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 or Lions Club St. Joes Island.
