Charles ST. PIERRE Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Henri St. Pierre, affectionately known as Charlie, who passed away quietly and peacefully in his home of 20 years in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, on February 10, 2025, at the age of 82.
Born on December 17, 1942, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Charlie grew up in Creighton, Saskatchewan, near Flin Flon, Manitoba. His early years were filled with fond memories of family, community, and the love that shaped his path in life.
Charlie’s remarkable 23-year career in the Canadian Armed Forces began as a cook and led him to teach baking and butchering. He rose to the rank of Master Warrant Officer finishing his career as a food service administrator, where his dedication and leadership earned him the respect of his fellow soldiers. After retiring from the Armed Forces, Charlie spent another 18 years working with Federal Corrections Canada, where he continued to serve his community with pride and dedication.
In his personal life, Charlie found great joy in spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He cherished his quiet moments in the garden, tending to the plants he loved, and could often be found completing word searches, his favorite pastime. Charlie was a steady presence in the lives of those who knew him, offering his support, laughter, and wisdom with all who crossed his path.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Pat) St. Pierre (nee Keating); son Scott St. Pierre; his six sisters, Lori Erickson, Molly Milne, Terry Milne, Rita Hoskins, Dori Belac, and Diane St. Pierre; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, George Henri St. Pierre; mother, Marie Alice Eugenie St. Pierre (nee Lagace); brother, Louis St. Pierre; and sister, Marie Georgette Davis.
A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held with family in September 2025.
Rest in peace, Charlie. You will forever be remembered and deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing you.
