It is with great sorrow that the family of Charles Coaster announces his passing on Sunday, January 5, 2025 in Thunder Bay.
Charles was born in Geraldton on February 21, 1983 to Margaret and Charlie Coaster. In his early years, he spent a lot of time in the family’s trapline with his parents and brother Robert. He loved cutting wood, fishing, trapping and hunting with family.
He enjoyed the outdoors walking, biking and reading. He played guitar well and sang songs for family.
He lived his life with ceremonies, singing with the drum.
Charles will be lovingly remembered by his brother Robert, his grandmothers Mary Coaster and Christine Ach, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. As well by his partner Kelsey Achneepineskum.
He spent a lot of his life in Manitoba where he met numerous friends whom he considered family.
