Charles Anthony Young Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles Anthony Young at the age of 62. He was predeceased by his loving parents, William and Eleonore.
Charles leaves behind his devoted partner, Sia; his brother Hamish and sister-in-law Noriko; as well as his cherished nephew and niece, Matthew and Jamie. He is also survived by his close family friends, Falkona and her partner Lisa, and Thimios, who were an important part of his life.
A passionate sports fan, Charles had a special place in his heart for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, and Buffalo Bills. He enjoyed his favorite TV shows, The Big Bang Theory and Friends, and had a fondness for fine wine and whiskey. Known for his sense of humor and love for acronyms, Charles always brought joy and laughter to those around him.
One of his greatest joys was the simple pleasure of meatloaf dinners and the thrill of trying new things. Charles had a love for long drives, often taking in the sights of Ontario, and could explore the province for hours without ever getting tired.
Charles will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his ability to make others laugh, and the warmth he shared with those who knew him. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Friends and family are invited to gather at Ridley Funeral Home on Thursday, March 27, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm to share stories and memories of Charles.
