À l’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston, le 25 janvier 2025, à l’âge de 80 ans et 10 mois, est décédée Mme Cécile Michaud, domiciliée à St-François-de-Madawaska, épouse de feu M. Ovide Landry, fille de feu M. Raoul Michaud et de feu Mme Fernande Laplante.
Elle laisse dans la peine mais avec de merveilleux souvenirs, son fils Danny Landry (Mirella), son petit-fils Vincent Landry (Chelsea Martin), ses frères et sœurs : Edwina Landry (Edwin), Léona “Tilou“ Landry (Guy), Marjorie Gagné (feu Gilbert), Rina Michaud (Bob), Valier Michaud (Stella), Paul-Emile Michaud (feu Pierrette), Louella Boucher (Denis), Jeannel Michaud (Angie), Robert Michaud (Eva), Jeannine Michaud, Arthur Michaud (Josée), Marcel Michaud (Jeanne), Charles Michaud (Louise), Pierrette Boucher (Bill), Michel Michaud (Michelle), Daniel Michaud (Céline) et Guy Michaud (Gaëtane) ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, petits-neveux et petites-nièces. Elle repose maintenant auprès de son époux ainsi que ses parents.
Les funérailles auront lieu samedi le 8 février 2025, à 11 h en l’église de St-François-de-Madawaska avec l’inhumation au cimetière paroissial.
La famille de Mme Cécile Landry accueillera parents et ami(e)s à compter de 9 h samedi à la salle du Club d’Age d’Or de St-François-de-Madawaska du 15 rue Mgr Lang St-François-de-Madawaska. Les heures de visites seront de 9 h à 10 h 30.
La famille remercie l’équipe des soins palliatifs de l’Hôpital régional d’Edmundston pour les excellents soins ainsi que la gentillesse du personnel rencontré pendant son hospitalisation

At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, on January 25, 2025, at the age of 80 years and 10 months, passed away Mrs. Cécile Michaud, she lives in St-François-de-Madawaska, wife of the late Mr. Ovide Landry, daughter of the late Mr. Raoul Michaud and the late Mrs. Fernande Laplante.
She leaves with wonderful memories, her son Danny Landry (Mirella), her grandson Vincent Landry (Chelsea Martin), her brothers and sisters: : Edwina Landry (Edwin), Léona “Tilou“ Landry (Guy), Marjorie Gagné (late Gilbert), Rina Michaud (Bob), Valier Michaud (Stella), Paul-Emile Michaud (late Pierrette), Louella Boucher (Denis), Jeannel Michaud (Angie), Robert Michaud (Eva), Jeannine Michaud, Arthur Michaud (Josée), Marcel Michaud (Jeanne), Charles Michaud (Louise), Pierrette Boucher (Bill), Michel Michaud (Michelle), Daniel Michaud (Céline) et Guy Michaud (Gaëtane) as well as several nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. She is now resting with her husband and her parents.
The funeral will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the St-François-de-Madawaska church with burial in the parish cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Cécile Landry will welcome relatives and friends starting at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Club d’Age d’Or de St-François-de-Madawaska at 15 rue Mgr Lang St-François-de- Madawaska. Visiting hours will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
The family thanks the palliative care team at the Edmundston Regional Hospital for the excellent care as well as the kindness of the staff encountered during her hospitalization.
