Passed suddenly away at Meadow creek retirement centre on February 24, 2025.
Predeceased by his partner Minnie Lear. Parents Robert and Ina (Hoddinott). Sisters Margaret, Winnie and Hazel. Brothers George, Wally, Robert, Jim, Donald, Reginald, Randolph, Frank, and Maxwell.
Leaving to Mourn his sister Mollie; nephews Richard (Marie), Gary (Georgina), David (Anne) and Campbell (Heather); nieces Jeanie, Shirley (Harvey), Hilda (Brent) and Linda; Minnie’s daughters Vickey English (Art) and Eileen Brophy who helped take care of Cecil before he went in the retirement home. As well as other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to the staff and residents of the Meadow creek retirement Centre who made Cecil feel at home. Thank you, Kelly and the emergency response team, for trying to resuscitate Cecil.
Cremation has taken place. As per Cecil’s wishes there will be no visitation just a grave side ceremony at Mount Pleasant Cemetery , 11:00 am on Friday February 28, 2025.
Say not in grief that he is no more but live in thankfulness that he was.
