Obituary of Catherine “Cathy” Dadson (nee Culbertson)
Of St. Thomas, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, January 17, 2025, in her 83rd year. Wife of the late John L. Dadson Sr. (2020). Mother of John L. Dadson Jr. (Mary), Tammy Dadson, Lee Dadson, and the late Charles Dadson (1979). Sister of Samuel Culbertson, Brenda Tilley, and the late Robert “Bob” Culbertson (2013). Also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Born in Simcoe, ON, September 1, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Edith (née Coates) Culbertson. Cathy was a retired elementary school custodian. She was a former member of Lord Elgin Branch #41, Royal Canadian Legion, St. Thomas.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Private interment in Elmdale Memorial Park. Memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice will be gratefully acknowledged. Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
