Carsten Ostergaard Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Carsten Ostergaard of Black Diamond on January 20, 2025 at the age of 65.
Carsten was born in Copenhagen Denmark. Served in the Danish Military, was a truck driver through Europe, and completed road maintenance until he was 45. Carsten and his wife Rita Ostergaard relocated to Canada with their two children Morten and Maria Ostergaard where Carsten received a job with the Town of Okotoks for the last 18 years. Those that knew Carsten knew how much pride he took in his jobs over the years.
Carsten is survived by his two children Morten and Maria (Darren), Mother and step father Lis and Gunner, sisters Karina (Peder) and Anne-Mette (Stig), Nephew Rene, and Nieces Ashley and Lonnie. Carsten is predeceased by his wife Rita and biological father Lief.
The Celebration of Life will take place at Viking Rentals Centre (Event Hall),
204 Community Way #4, Okotoks, AB T1S 2N3
on February 8th 2025 at 1pm.
