It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Carroll Frederick Hanson on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at the age of 82 years old. Born on January 26, 1943, he was the son of the late Lorne and Mae (Brewer) Hanson. Carroll worked in the woods all of his life, he kept himself busy, always working on a project. He enjoyed gardening and hunting. He will be remembered as someone who would lend a helping hand to anyone he could.
Carroll is survived by his children, Lynn, Mark and Greg; grandchildren, Mary, John, Tyler, Joan and Kerry; great-grandchildren, Harper, Miles and Carter; sister, Madeline and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Carroll was predeceased by his wife, Queenie and siblings, Orville, Lorence, Glenwood, Lorne, Oscar and Colin.
A Celebration of Life will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 2 pm with Pastor Chris Bennett officiating.
