Carolyn Louise Koach Obituary
Koach, Carolyn Louise
Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 in her 85th year, Carolyn Koach (nee Young), beloved wife of 59 years with Kenneth Koach. Loving mother of Stephen (Sharron) Koach, Derek (Tanya) Koach, Karri (Cheney) Venn. Much loved grandmother of Brennen, Stuart, Liam, Nolan, Kennedy, Trinity. Dear sister of the late Gregory Young.
Carolyn was always the doting host and in her role as caregiver both professionally and personally always concerned about others and ensuring the ones she loved were well looked after with her amazing home cooked meals and thoughtfulness. Carolyn had a voracious appetite for reading and history and often told us stories as if we were there with her experiencing them. Nothing made her more proud though than to watch the grandkids (inclusive of all the dogs) grow and flourish with Ken.
We are all heartbroken of her passing but will ensure her spirit lives on in all of us and those stories passed on.
If you see that ladybug passing you by, be sure to think happy thoughts of Carolyn.
Family and friends will be received at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm. Cremation has taken place.
If wished, memorial donations to the Women’s College Hospital or the Hospital for Sick Children gratefully appreciated. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.mccleisterfuneralhome.ca
