Obituary of Carol Jeanenne Murray
The annual pilgrimage north of the snow geese arrived in Grand Bend just in time to bid farewell to Carol.
Peacefully, at home, with her husband and best friend at her side, Carol Jeanenne Murray at the age of 67 passed away on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025.
Dearly loved and remembered by her husband Ken Murray and her children; Mike, Matt
and Geoff.
Dearest “Nana” of 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Carol was so very proud to have been able to take part in raising her beloved granddaughter Raven.
Carol is survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son Christopher Murray (1978), her father Charles Dennis and her mother Marion (Steinmetz).
Carol grew up in Kitchener in the busy and big Dennis family. Upon the completion of school, she had her first son, Mike. She met and fell in love with Ken in 1975. The two went on to have three more boys. She was a seamstress, creating unique and classic suits for countless appreciative gents in the K-W area. Upon retirement, Carol and Ken moved to Grand Bend where they enjoyed many wonderful and happy years.
Carol’s love of the beauty and serenity of nature has inspired her family to scatter her ashes on a sunny day, where the water meets the land.
