Obituary of Carolann Sayers
SAYERS, Carolann- With her loving family by her side Carolann Mae Jacqueline Patricia Sayers, was gifted her angel wings which she so deserved. Carolann will always be remembered and never forgotten by” her Husband of 50 years, Dan Sayers Sr. “Old Cat”. Proud and devoted mother of two loveable young men Danny Jr. (Pam) and Trevor Sr. “Trapper” (Elizabeth). She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her grandchildren; Danielle (Mike), Trevor Jr. (Jazlyn), Tyler (Payton), Brayden, Taya, and Riley. Carolann’s memory will also live on in her great grandchildren, Aiden, Parker, Finn, and Rain. She will be forever etched in the memories as a special in law to Laura (Harold), Darcy (Brenda), Lisa (Mike), and the late Libby. Carolann is now reunited with her parents Dorothy and John Ulric Coneybeare. She was a dear Sister, and loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by dear family friends Lana Jones, Dolly and Aunt Cook! She also leaves behind her furry four-legged friends Dusty, Nimkii, and Bella whom she loved dearly.
Her proudest achievement in life is her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They adored her and will be always remember the time spent egg painting at Easter, pumpkin carving at Halloween and most of all- her overabundance of Christmas decorations and gifts during the holiday season.
Carolann will always be remembered for her kindness and compassion to her
community of Batchewana First Nation and for her 30 years of service in the home care program. She worked tirelessly to support elderly community members, creating safe spaces where they felt comforted, and heard. Her generosity touched the lives of many, and she will be forever adored by those who sought her help and those dear friends who cherished sharing stories with her.
Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a time of sharing at 6:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family would kindly request that donations be made to the SSM Human Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A special thank you to the SAH Doctors and Nurses in the ICU for their professionalism, kindness, compassion and extra care tending to our Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother during this most difficult time.
