Maxwell, Carol Ann – It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Carol Ann Maxwell on December 21, 2024 at the age of 79. Her final moments were spent peacefully surrounded by family.
Born in Truro, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Lena and Courtney Kaye.
Mom was a woman of immense humor, quick wit and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with her loved ones. A friend to many, she is leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength. While our family grieves her loss, we are choosing to remember her in a way that honors her spirit.
Mom was predeceased by her brother, John and daughter in-law, Melanie. She is survived by her brother, Kenny; special sister in-law, Betty; and her children, Philip, Debbie (David), Donnie, Krista (Darryl) and Julie; grandchildren, Brian, Jeremey, Brandon, Cody, Shanice, Rayven, Jade, Emily, Rebecca, Erin, Madeline; and several great-grandchildren.
Rest easy mom, you are now free from pain; and do not worry, we will watch over each other until we meet again.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Mom’s precious life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Victoria Order of Nurses and special nurse, Ash at Colchester East Hants Health Centre.
