We, the family of Carol Ann MacNeil, regret to announce her passing on Monday, February 17, 2025, in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born March 6, 1958, in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Cleary) Meagher.
Carol is survived by her partner, Arthur Arsenault; sons, Mike (Jaymie) and Shane (Mary Bron), Ontario; grandchildren, Faye, Cole, Easton and Brynley; sisters, Eileen Wood, Myrtle (Damian) Breen and Helen (Steve) MacLennan; and brothers, Leo (Margie) and Bernie.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Robert.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Sydney Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at Kiju’s Restaurant, Membertou on Wednesday, February 26th from 2-4 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
