Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital on Friday, January 3, 2025, aged 79 years surrounded by her loved ones and her best friend, Linda Dacey who travelled from Ottawa to be by her side.
Predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Mary Ellen Ryan, her sister Helen (Sam) Short and members of the Ryan and Valiquette families.
Leaving to mourn her loving and devoted sister, Gabriella (Carl) Nolander of Port Kirwan; her brother Reg Ryan (Tina) of Fermeuse; her nieces Racquel (Chad) and her children Alexis, Sam & Michael; Dana (Ray) and her children Michael, Justin and Daniel; Corrina and her daughter Morgan; Nephews Juan (Jodi) and his daughter Kristi, Jimmy (Julie), Aubrey, Stephen (Shannon) and his children Ashton, Cole and Kate.
Also leaving to mourn are her family and friends from Ottawa where she lived for 49 years.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation on Friday, January 10th, at Caul’s Funeral Home LeMarchant Road 1 pm with a service to follow at 2 pm at Caul’s Chapel, LeMarchant Road.
Visitation to take place at Fahey’s Funeral home on Saturday January 11th, 2025 from 11 am to 1 pm. Inurnment to take place at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Fermeuse on Saturday, January 11th, 2025 at 1pm.
As per the family’s request, there will be a short celebration of Carmelita’s at In Da Loop for friends and family following the Inurnment.
No flowers by request, donations may be made in her memory to Forget Me Not Animal Rescue, forgetmenotanimalrescue@outlook.com
