Surrounded by love, Carlos Rocha passed away peacefully in Toronto, Ontario, on August 30, 2025, in his 73rd year.
He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Lenea, cherished son, Steven and parents, Manuel and Alzira. He leaves behind his devoted daughters and ‘sons’ Nancy, Stephen Brennan, Jennifer and Christopher, who will forever carry his spirit in their hearts.
“Papa” was the proud and wildly doting grandfather of Madison, Leah, Caden, Grayson, and Bennett, who brought him endless joy and laughter. He was also a loving brother to Duarte (Fatima), Maria (Herman), and Lina (Manny), brother-in-law to Dennis, godfather to Michael and uncle to Lisa, Victoria, Nadia & Jonathan. Family was at the center of his world and his warmth, kindness and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will take place at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst St., on September 1st from 4-8pm. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and celebrate a life well-lived. A funeral mass will follow at St. Mary’s Church, 588 Adelaide St. W., on September 2nd at 11am.
The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at Princess Margaret Hospital and Toronto Western Hospital for their exceptional care.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be deeply appreciated, allowing Carlos’ memory to live on through the care of others.
