It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carl William Gyori at the age of 68 on October 3rd, 2025. Loving husband to Lynn Gyori. Devoted father to Blaine Anderson (Stacey), Tricia Sims (Daryl) and Amber Stumpf (Tyler). Cherished Grandpa to Tatyanna (Kyle), Tristin “Bubba” (Taylor), Ava, Teagan and Brooks. Loving Great-Grandfather to Landon and Tucker. He will be missed by his siblings Patsy Greenham (Paul), Ivan Gyori (Diane), Irene Gyori, Larry Gyori and Dean Gyori (Dottie). Survived by his mother, Lillian Gyori (Bondy). Reunited with his father William “Bill” Gyori (2013).
Carl wore many hats throughout his life — he was a dedicated business owner, a hardworking farmer, an avid hunter, and, most importantly, a devoted family man. His family was his greatest pride and joy. He is remembered and will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, and friends who became family.
Carl cherished golf cart rides down the 9th, being outback and every moment spent with those he loved. His laughter, warm smile, and thoughtful phone calls will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Tuesday October 7, 2025 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm, and will resume on Wednesday October 8, 2025 from 10am until time of Funeral Service at 11am at FAMILIES FIRST 585 Sandwich St. S. Amherstburg. (519) 969-5841.
Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
