It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carl Jerome Dube, a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He passed away peacefully on April 15th, 2025 at the age of 94. Carl was born on August 30, 1930 in Amherstburg, ON. Loving husband to Barbara. Dedicated father to Timothy (Phyllis), Anne (Frank), and Christopher (Nicole). Papa to Brandon (Melanie) and Kendra Madill. Andrew (Alaina) and Linnea Dube. Great Grandfather to Chase and Leo Madill and to Lily-Anne Madill. Also Baby Boy Dube (July, 2025). Predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years, Marian (2017). Parents Henry and Blanche Dube, sister Harriet, brothers Donald (Duke), and Howard (Hank).
Carl was an aircraft and aviation enthusiast his entire life. He could talk for hours on that subject. He bemoaned the fact that he never became a good golfer after 50+ years but nonetheless relished the game until the age of 92 when it became a spectator sport for him. Carl thoroughly enjoyed his retirement which began in 1989. He often expressed profound gratitude on being blessed with such a long and wonderful life which was filled with love and joy.
Visitation at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor 519-969-5841 from 10am until 11am then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel (4401 Mt. Royal Dr.) for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am.
Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
