Cameron Vandewater Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Cam who left us on Wednesday April 30th at the age of 66.
After a long battle of pancreatic cancer, Cam passed comfortably with his wife Pam, his daughter Kaitlin and his dog Freddie at his side. Cam will forever be remembered by his sisters Cathi Duboisson and Carol Cluff and deeply missed by his mother-in-law Polly Studnicki.
Cam will be reunited with his parents Howard and Margaret Vandewater, sister Suzanne Vandewater and father-in-law Nick Studnicki.
We all have fond memories of Cam and many of his life long friends have been sharing and reminding our family of how entertaining and fun loving his character was. He was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones.
After thirty-one years of marriage, the dynamic duo Cam and Pam built a life of love, friendship and strength. With Cam’s outgoing personality and Pam’s loving character, they shared a special relationship.
Cam was able to share his love of sports, music and traveling with his daughter Kaitlin. Cam was always Kaitlin’s number one fan on and off the field, and we know that he’s still cheering her on.
After retiring from the City of Toronto, he enjoyed his time traveling to Myrtle Beach and Collingwood with his family, golfing with his friends, volunteering for his community and sitting back drinking a nice cold beer while listening to all his favourite 80’s songs.
To keep busy after his retirement, Cam liked to stay busy and started working part time for Community Living in Grimsby and Beamsville where he became friends with many co-workers.
We are thankful for all the love and support our family, friends and community have shared with us.
