Went home to his Saviour, on Monday, September 29, 2025, formerly of Kitchener, Collingwood and Kimberley in his 94th year. Predeceased by his loving wife May (Noble) in February, 2025. Dedicated father of Judy (Philip) Patton of Kitchener, Edwin (Joan) of Orillia, Janet (Glen) Belbeck of Calgary, AB, Beverly (Steve) Bond of Kingston and Owen (Sandra) of Caronport, SK. Cherished grandfather of Alana (Kevin) Harms, Valerie (Eric) Nielsen, Joanna (Ishwar) Patton Maharaj, Jennifer, Jeffery (Jeanna), Emilee (Chris) Thiessen, Evan (Christine), Denver Belbeck, Dallas Belbeck, Stephanie Bond, Shane (Andrea) Bond, Amy and Jacob (Tania). Great grandfather of 17. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Lillian Smart, siblings Merle, Ione, Helen and Franklin and one great grandson Emmett. Survived by sisters Marylin Dinsmore and Karen (David) Crouse and sister-in-law Vera Smart.
