Obituary of Calvert Merrill Fraser
The death of Calvert “COLBY” Fraser of Grand Bay-Westfield occurred Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was the son of Merrill and Doreen (Hambrook) Fraser.
Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his wife Nancy (MacDonald) Fraser, daughter Jennifer Fraser-Furrow, and by grandsons Dylan Furrow and Mitch Furrow. In addition to his parents, Colby was predeceased by brother Aulton Fraser, brother Garry Fraser and sister Janet Saad.
A construction electrician Colby was a man who approached his trade, his hockey and his politics with integrity, respect for others and a strong work ethic, all seasoned by a sense of humour.
At Colby’s request, there will be a private interment with no visitation or funeral. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
