Byron Melvin
1954-2025
It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Byron
R. Melvin on February 7th at the Jordan
LifeCare Centre. Born in Havelock, he was a son to the late Gerald
& Myrtle (Killam) Melvin.
Byron is survived and sadly missed by his son, Jonathon
Melvin; his sisters: Alice Jones (late Gary) of Salisbury, Julia
Steeves (Greg) of Petitcodiac and Cora Melvin of Petitcodiac; his
brothers: Morgan Melvin of Havelock, Gerald Melvin of Toronto and
Keith Melvin (Wanda) of Petitcodiac as well as several nieces, nephews
and extended family members.
Besides his parents, Byron was predeceased by his brothers,
David & Wayne Melvin; his sister, Betty Melvin and infant
sister, Mary-Ellen.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury
Funeral Home, 506-372-4800 from where a Memorial Service will be held
on Friday, February 14th at 11:00am. Interment
will be held at a later date.
If desired, donations made to the Jordan LifeCare Centre or
charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.
