Bunnylynn Marko Obituary
MARKO- Bunnylynn Marie of Hamilton passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at the age of 69 years. Loving mother of Richard (Melanie) and his father William, dear daughter of Carol Marko and the late Edward Marko, dear sister of Colleen Lampman, the late Jim Marko, the late Kevin Marko and the late Stephanie Koeber. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends.
Bunny lived life to the fullest, her heart was bigger then life itself. She loved her family and friends more then anything. Being a huge Ti,-Cats fan that was her next love of life along with the leafs. And Team Canada. I know she touched each and everyone of our lives in her own way. She had a way of making us feel loved and special. Its hard to explain, if you knew bunny you know what I mean. Bunny was dedicated to what ever she was doing, working or playing. It was her best always. She retired from Gowlings in 2022. The firm had sent out a condolences letter that brought a tear to my eye. Thank you goes out to her work family. Kathy leblanc ❤️Thank you.
Bunnys best friend Darlean Goss. She loved you! To all of Bunny’s family, you meant the world to her!!
Bunny was the glue that held all of us together. Family and friends. When we needed Bunny, she was always there for us. Didn’t matter time of day. She will always be remembered, never forgotten and will be in our hearts always!
A huge thank you, Melanie Rouleau for your compassion and love for Bunny and making her comfortable while in the hospital & helping me and my dad to better understand what was happening.
Our family would like to thank the staff of both Hospitals. Especially from St Peter’s Hospitals. To everyone who knows Bunny, know she loved you all!
As per Bunnys wishes,

  1. We offer our deepest condolences to Richard ( Mel) and Will and extended family. We know Bunny’s passing is a heartbreaking loss. We are delighted to know Bunny through the stories shared by Richard. We are from the north and my recollection of Bunny was her calling Richard to let him know about these amazing and warm boots she had found for him! We look forward to learning more about Bunny.
