Bruce Brian Day Obituary
Bruce Brian Day, age 76, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at home on March 19, 2025. Born in Woodstock, he was the beloved son of the late Bruce and Dorothy (Gard) Day.
Bruce Brian is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Glen (Judy), Sheila Hartley (Bruce), and Neil. He was a cherished uncle to Jessica Hartley (Kyle) and Craig Hartley (Jenn) and a proud great-uncle to Everly and Charlotte Hartley.
He grew up in the Embro area and pursued his education at Cody’s, Zorra Highland, CASS, Fanshawe College, and the University of Waterloo, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. A lifelong lover of the arts, Bruce Brian had a deep passion for reading and enjoyed collecting books, music, and films.
From a young age, he played an active role on the family farm, assisting with milking and fieldwork. He had a special appreciation for farming and was always eager to discuss tractors and the progress of the crops.
A private family service will be held, with interment at North Embro Cemetery. Memorial donations are encouraged, to a charity of one’s choice.
