BRIAN GEORGE GILROY
March 4, 1936 – January 22, 2025
Brian was born in England and came across to Canada when he was only eighteen years old. He joined his mother and sister in Geraldton but ended up moving to Elliot Lake where he spent most of his adult life and worked for the Rio Algom Company in their uranium mill.
Brian was an avid gardener and enjoyed watching wildlife. Brian and his wife Sally (Abramson) moved to southern Ontario in 2009 to be closer to their sons.
Brian was predeceased by his parents and a brother and by his son Derek. He is survived by his wife Sally, his sons Mathew, Marcus, and Dwight and his granddaughters Erika and Tanya.
He will always be remembered and in our hearts.
