Brenda “Kaye” Davies Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mom Kaye Davies who left us peacefully with her family by her side. She was a wonderful wife, a well-loved mom, grandmother and favourite aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Mom was born in Burns Lake to Thomas and Nellie Taylor, the youngest of three children. Mom is survived by her loving family – daughters Karen Field (Shane), Tracy Davies (Maris), grandsons Graham Venechuk (Lindsey), Carson Venechuk (Jen), and longtime family friend Toady Elvins. Mom was predeceased by our loving father in 2018 after 61 years of marriage and her sisters Rennie and Trudy.
Mom was a long-time resident of Comox moving here in 1957. Mom worked as a secretary for many years at Puntledge Park Elementary and enjoyed running into former students around town that now had children and grandchildren of their own.
Mom was a long-time member of the Comox Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Volunteering there for many years. Mom was an avid card player, playing Euchre two days a week with the “card ladies” she also enjoyed her visits to the casino.
There will be no service by request.
