DUKE, BRENDA HELEN (Mulroy)
It is with profound sadness that we share news of the passing of Brenda Duke (formerly Kargus), suddenly at her home in Russell, Ontario, on Sunday, March 2, 2025. She joins her devoted husband, Dave Duke, as they now rest together in peace and love. Brenda was a loving mother to her two sons, Richard Kargus (Kimberley) and Steven Kargus (Meredith), and a cherished grandmother to grandchildren Jacob, Keaton, Sydney, Kiefer and Grace. She will be missed by her sister Judy (Stephan Grasmuck), and brothers Randy (Darlene) and Dan. Her love of warm summer days, vibrant colours, and of the joy of the Christmas season will be forever fondly remembered by her family and friends. A private celebration of her life will be held for family and close friends and neighbours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenda’s memory can be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute.
